The E&P Projects and Engineering Function (P&E) is focused on building and sustaining functional excellence that underpins the creation of distinctive projects and their world class execution. BP's Alaska Strategic Performance Unit (SPU) is a major component of the BP's existing group of businesses. The Alaska SPU resource base supports a 50 year future for BP in Alaska, and to deliver that we need to attract the best people.

This level of spend is expected to grow significantly through 2013 due to increased activity across all areas of the business, and especially Projects. New Alaska SPU projects include Heavy Oil, North Slope pipeline and facilities renewal program.
